About Me

My love of photography started in my late teens when I received my first refurbished slr camera as a gift. In those days it was expensive to print so I was very careful and almost unadventurous with the pictures I took. With the birth of the digital slr camera, I was set free to take pictures whenever, and of whatever, I liked! My husband has been the ultimate essence of patience as he often has to wait for me while I snap away.

I would by no means class myself as a professional photographer, just an enthusiastic amateur. After years of all my photos just sitting on the computer and only occasionally being looked at, I thought “Why not see if anyone else would like to see them!” And that’s where this idea came from. I hope you like them.  If you see something you think would look great on your wall, either as a print or a canvas, just contact me!

Why the name Grey Box Art?

Because I’m lucky to live in Eynesbury, right next to the largest remaining Grey Box forest in Victoria. The woodland is home to more than 130 different species of birds, several on the endangered list as well as kangaroos, echidnas and occasional koalas (who are generally passing through, but do sometimes stay a while – they like it here too!).
